Since it was a long time since my last discussion post, I decided to write one today. Don’t forget to write your opinion in the comments 🙂 I would love to read them.
So this is a question that have been bothering a lot of people. Do the opinion of others affect your own? If you really think about it, it’s a bit tricky because let’s admit it, we pick up new books because others are telling us how good it is and because you read so many good reviews on it. So is it the same thing as not liking or liking a book because others say so? Continue reading
I wanted to do this post for a long time now, but never actually did it. Until now! Since it’s the end of the month of April, I decided why not do it. This year so far has been full of discounts from my favorite bookstores so I kind of bought a lot of books (kind of). I have a feeling that this is going to be long so let’s get started! Continue reading
Hey! It’s been a long time since I did this post so I decided to do it today. If you don’t know what it is, it’s a weekly feature for book lovers hosted by Wandering Words. Judge a book by its opening lines, and not by its cover! So here we go!
- Pick a book off your shelf and open to the first page
- Copy the first few lines to capture the reader’s attention
- Finally… reveal the book!
Today, I’m going to write a review on First Light which is written by Michele Paige Holmes. This review does not contain any spoilers so be free to read it without any concern. Before starting explaining what I liked and disliked, I want to say that this book is a really good retelling that I had a lot of fun to read.
This book was given to me in exchange of an honest review. Continue reading
Heir of fire is the third book in the throne of glass series (might I add that it’s one of my favorite series of all time) and today I’m going to be reviewing how amazing it is. There will be a spoiler section at the end of this review so beware the people who didn’t read this book. I gave Heir of fire a 5 stars (no shocker there) and Sarah J. Maas keeps surprising me with her books, it’s breathtaking. **Do not read this review if you didn’t read throne of glass or Crown of midnight. Continue reading
In today’s post, I’m going to tell you guys about what I’m currently reading and the last book I read (Well, the book I finished a few minutes ago). If you read my two last posts, you know that I couldn’t read much these past few weeks because I went on a trip and when I came back, I had a lot of work. But now that I finished it all, I read more this week. I’m currently 3 books behind my reading goal, but I’ll try to catch up as soon as possible.
P.s. Would you like me to write a post about my trip to Italy and Paris? I could show you some of the photos I took there. Let me know in the comments below. Continue reading
Hello everyone!! I’m just writing this post to ask you guys what you have been up to. In my last review, I said that I wasn’t really connected to my blog and didn’t really look what you guys were up to because I was so busy. So now I’m asking, what have you been up to? You can link some of your posts you think I could read to be up to date and I’ll read them 🙂 Have a nice day! And sorry again for not being here lately.
Hello everyone! I hope that you are well and I wanted to apologize for not writing sooner. I had a lot of projects at school and I didn’t really have a free time. I’m sure you know that school isn’t always easy…sigh. I also went on a vacation so I couldn’t write until I finished to catch up with all the work I missed.
To make it up to you, I decided to write a review on one of my favorite books which is Me Before You. This book is written by Jojo Moyes. This review contains a spoiler section but I’ll tell you before we get there. Before letting my feelings all out about this book, I just want to say “Me Before You” is a beautiful piece of art that deserves the success it has. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to laugh, giggle and cry at the same time. Continue reading
